The Easy Riders cluster is for riders all over the city who identify as Beginner or Casual. Our rides are usually 20-30 miles long, social, and often involve stops for coffee, ice cream, etc. Frequently, we host Destination Rides to an event or attraction. We lead rides from Wyoming, College Hill, Kenwood, Lebanon, Newtown, Maineville and Newport. For rides rated Casual, everyone is welcome who can keep an average pace of 11-12 mph. For rides rated Beginner, everyone is welcome. Helmets and sign-in are required on all rides. Water recommended.

Performance Ride

When: Sundays at 8:00 am

DIFFICULTY RATING: Pace of slowest rider

Easy no-drop ride in Kenwood area.

Decaf Ride

When: Sundays at 1 pm
Where: Behind 6128 Hamilton Ave. (College Hill Coffee Company)

DIFFICULTY RATING: Beginner or Casual - Will adjust to most casual rider.

Short Ride - less than 20 miles and coffee or hot drink and or Ice cream stop for socializing. No race – No drop – No worries. If I do not hear conversation I figure that the pace is too fast, or it is time for a stop.

Monday Lebanon Casual Ride

When: Mondays at 6:30 pm
Where: Countryside YMCA, 1699 Deerfield Rd., Lebanon Ohio 45036

We meet at the YMCA north parking lot shelter by the bike trail. This is a ride on the roads in and around Historic Lebanon Ohio. Expect rollers, no big hill climbs. Great for people new to road riding and those who just want a relaxed pace, usually 9 to 12 mph average. Bike helmet required. Rain and wet roads will cancel ride. Should be back before dark; bring lights if you have them.

Wyoming Monday (Three paces, see Casual below) Ride

When: Mondays at 6:30 pm
Where: Wyoming Tennis Court Parking lot at 1038 Springfield Pike, Wyoming Ohio. Tennis Courts/Tot Lot is across street from the Methodist church at 1025 Springfield Pike. This is just south of the corner of Springfield Pike and Fleming at a light. Enter off Springfield Pike where the wooden sign says "Tennis Courts City of Wyoming."

  • Intermediate 1: 16+mph average with pace of 18 to 22 at times
  • Intermediate 2: 13-15 mph average with a pace 1 to 2 mph higher at times
  • Casual: 9-12 average, speed will be adjusted to the most casual rider

Approximately 29 miles. This ride will follow a common route downtown and into Kentucky. Casual group takes a shorter route. Headlights & Taillight are required in the fall, winter and spring.

Tuesday Morning Casual Ride

When: Tuesdays at 10:00 am

20-30 miles on quiet roads. Some hills. This ride is for those who want to ride in a group. No One Left Behind and lunch along the ride or after.

Hell on Hills Hill Training Ride

When: Wednesdays at 6:30 pm
Where: 11 Wyoming Ave., public lot beside Robinson Dry Cleaners, Wyoming, OH 45215

DIFFICULTY RATING: No rating, go at your own pace (it is a 2-mile loop)

We go up Reily and down Oliver as many times as desired. Go at your own pace. Distance depends on how many loops you choose to do. The hill is not steep, but it is one mile long. About 200 ft. of elevation rise from Wyoming Ave. to the top.

Warren County Casual Ride

When: Wednesdays at 6:00pm
Where: Foster Trailhead (7751 County Rd. 10 Maineville Ohio 45039)
Ride Leader: Jim Thiry
Route: Mostly Little Miami Bike Trail

The ride will start at the Foster Trailhead parking lot at 6 pm and then head north on the bike trail. In the summer months, we will ride on some country roads in the Little Miami River Valley before heading back. Should be back before dark, bring lights if you have them.

Bishop’s Thursday Casual RIde

When: Thursdays at 6:15 pm
Where: Bishop's Bicycles; 313 Main Street, Milford, OH
Ride Leader: Sheila Boggs

We leave from Bishop's at 6:15, taking the back roads to the trail. From there, we will head towards the golf course, down to Newtown Rd., and then up to Mariemont to get some Graeter's ice cream. The group will pace with the slowest rider.

IKEA Casual Ride

When: Thursdays at 6:30 pm

We take backroads up to IKEA and come back Reading Road, sometimes stopping at The Root Beer Stand in Sharonville or Don’s Creamy Whip in Reading. Mostly flat, about 19 miles total.

Saturday Breakfast Ride

When: Saturdays at 8 am
Where: Eastgate Lanes, 1362 SR 28, Loveland, OH 45140

DIFFICULTY RATING: Social/Casual & Intermediate

Start at Eastgate Lanes on Rt 28, Goshen. 3.5 miles east of I-275, exit 57. Approximate 40 mile ride with a breakfast stop half-way at Plain Folks Cafe in Pleasant Plain. People tend to ride together within multiple speed groups. A very friendly and social ride. Check the Ride Calendar for updates and weekly ride details. Frequently a shorter route and slower pace ride leader is available, to be announced weekly.

Purple People Bridge Ride

When: Saturdays, 9:30 am
Where: Reser Bicycle Outfitters, 7th and Monmouth Newport, KY Looking for a beginner ride? Just learning to ride on the road? This is the ride for you! We depart from Reser for a ride out to Lunken Airport. We welcome young riders who feel comfortable riding on the road.

13-25 miles depending on the group. Newport to Lunken Airport.

50 West Cycling Beginner and Casual Ride

When: Selected Saturdays at 9 am (10 am in fall and spring)
Where: 50 West Cycling, 7669 Wooster Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45227
Ride Leader: Cynthia Smith

There will be pace and distance options. We will stay together at the pace of slowest rider at the beginning and go north on the Little Miami Trail up to Terrace Park (3 miles). Then we will tool around Terrace Park for a few miles and go back to the trail. Beginners can return to 50 West Cycling via the trail at this point (making 9 total miles), and Casual riders (11-12 mph pace) can continue on the trail to Milford, take a little tour of Milford, then return the four miles back to 50 West via the trail (16 miles total). Those who wish can add an additional 8 miles on the southmost new part of the trail to make a total of 24 miles.
