The Chili - A Cincinnati-Style Bicycling Original!

There are other bike events but they don't have great Cincinnati-style chili. The event is organized by Ohio's oldest not-for-profit bicycle club, the Cincinnati Cycle Club. CCC members enjoy bicycle riding and know how good Cincinnati-style can be. Especially after a ride.

The ride has you out into safe beautiful Ohio country roads fast and hassle free. No big climbs and plenty of quiet countryside. Our 25-mile route is perfect for bicyclists who may be new to organized bicycling events. Tandem riders will find most routes ideal.

The first thing noticed by Chili riders is our superior directional road marking and map. We take our painted directional route marks very seriously! In case of a problem, radio equipped vehicles will be on each route looking for riders who need help. Each vehicle is in constant touch with headquarters, our ride support team and emergency personnel.

Of course, what would a bicycling event be without food and rest stops along the way. Each route will have one or more snack stops where you can relax. These rest stops also offer a selection of fresh fruit, baked goods and beverages. The snacks are chosen to keep you fueled until the ChiliFeast!

After your ride, nothing is better than a hot meal. That's where the optional ChiliFeast buffet really hits the spot! It features Cincinnati-style Chili, Veggy Sauce and Baked Potatoes with all the fixin's and a fresh tossed salad.

So if you're looking for a fun way to spend a day bicycling or want to get in shape for the upcoming bicycling season, the 2007Chili is for you. Remember - The Chili only comes once a year. You don't want to miss all the excitement of a true Cincinnati original.
