Ride Calendar - Event View

This weekend’s ride is Back to Maysville onto Vanceburg. This will be 101 miles with 6,600 feet of climbing. In this part of Kentucky you will notice the valleys are much wider than in Northern Kentucky and the climbs are very long. The climbing starts right away with a 2.6 mile climb. Yes, the downhill at the end of the Limestone Century Tour is our climb at the beginning. Leaving Vanceburg is a really good 1.5 mile climb with an average grade of 6.3% (I think it’s worse) topped with a nice 19% after turning left onto Rock Run Road. We will have at least two more major climbs but I have never ridden them. Ride with GPS says there are ten climbs ranging in length from 0.7 miles to 2.6 miles.
