A 6 day 305 mile bike packing (camping) tour of central Florida. Starting in Inverness we will loop over to the Seminole Forest and and back. The surfaces are bike path, road, single track, double track and forest roads that will require a wide tire for many sections of the route.
The route architect has provided me this tire width recommendation: 45 mm is solid choice, 40 mm is borderline, wider is always better. I will be riding my 50 mm gravel king.

Event Fee $75 payable to John C. upon registration. With Fee payment you will receive an invitation to RWGPS route map with the specific route for download to your navigation device.
Day 1 – Herndon to Santos Camp and Trailhead (42 miles)
The State park campground is near mile 42 from Herndon (45 from Inverness). There are multiple Mtn bike trails here so it is called “Mtn. Bike Heaven”.

Day 2 – Camp #1 to Volusia (58 miles)
We will stop at Silver Springs SP at mile 8, then continue on to Volusia.

Day 3 – Camp to Seminole Forest (45 miles)

Day 4 - Camp 3 to Lake Louisa SP (72 miles)
Our campsite for day 4 is Lake Luisa SP campsite.
There are hotel options at mile 66, however they are all in the mid $250 range. Hotel option would be arranged by the individual riders
Day 5 – Lake Louisa Campsite to Ridge Manor RV Park (47 miles)

Easy ride up the Withlacoochee bike path back to the start location.
