Madville Winter Night Ride @6:30
We will ride this week temperature permitting. And we are back to our usual Madville route. This week is counter clockwise, Norwood first. Headlights and taillights required. This is a no drop ride.
The Madville Winter Night Ride continues all winter - weather permitting. Layer up your winter gear for the cooler weather. If you haven’t ridden with us in a while, now is a good time to start. This is an easier ride than our summer months. The winter ride is about 1,200 feet of gradual climb and about 30/32 miles. The route is basically the same each week with the direction reversing weekly. So you’ll get to know the route well.
We leave promptly at 6:30pm from St. Margaret/St. John Church parking lot. 6000 Murray Road at Simpson Aveune 45227. Please arrive early. We will do our best to observe all established traffic regulations and ride safely. Average speeds will vary between 14-16 MPH. Expect flat road speeds to exceed 20+ at times. We regroup at strategic spots as needed. Potential wet weather or wet roads will cancel the ride. Parking in the church lot is permitted.
